Dancing For Customer Service

Ballet and bellboys aren’t traditionally mentioned in the same breath but it would seem as though Marriott is out to change that. The luxury hotel chain has announced plans to begin improving their hospitality staff by using a dance company.

The training program entitled “Poise & Grace”, aims to improve the guest experience by promoting better breath control and more fluid movements for its concierge and staff. Marriott hopes this unique form of training will help customers feel more welcome and comfortable with housekeepers and room attendants.
